Sunday School at First Baptist Church Brentwood offers a welcoming place for all ages to grow in faith, study God’s Word, and build lasting connections within our church family.
Help nurture young hearts
Our Sunday School program is growing, and we’re looking for more helping hands! We need both teachers and nursery helpers to support our children’s ministry. We use a team-teaching approach, so you’ll only serve about once a month—giving you plenty of time to enjoy worship services as well. If you’re interested in helping or would like to learn more, our Sunday School Superintendent would be happy to speak with you.
Summer Fun
When Sunday School takes a break for the summer, we keep the fun going with Kidz Korral—a special program led by one of our Sunday School leaders! Kidz Korral meets at 10:00 AM during Sunday worship in a safe, fenced-in area at our outdoor worship location. Children enjoy singing, games, and plenty of fun in the sun. Bring your little ones—they’re sure to have a great time!
Sunday School Missions
A message from our Sunday School Asst. Superintendent Dawn Higley
Each child in our Sunday School program is playing an active role in ending world hunger. A portion of the children’s weekly Sunday School offering, whether a dime or a few dollars, goes toward Heifer International several times a year. Heifer International uses our donation to provde livestock and education to struggling families around the world so they can improve their daily nutrition and earn incomefor basic life nessesities. In February, the children will be voting on the next animal to donate. As an extra bonus, Heifer International is matching donations through June, 2023, doubling our impact.
