How blessed you are today!
You are blessed if you know Jesus and have accepted Him as your Savior and Lord.
But with this blessing comes responsibility: to share your experience of grace with someone else.
In I Corinthians 4:2 the Apostle Paul spells it out clearly: “Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.”
You have been given a trust: the promise of eternal life through your belief in Jesus. Your responsibility is the challenge of stewardship–to share this Good News with someone else.
Think back to how you came to the Lord. Someone likely brought you near to Him.
You may have been enrolled in Sunday school by your parents, or brought to worship by a well-meaning friend.
Maybe you were encouraged by a messmate or co-worker to read the Bible–someone, somewhere, somehow influenced you in your search for the One who has fulfilled your life..
It is now your turn to honor that person and our God by sharing your faith with someone else. Who will it be? How will you do it? Those are questions for you to answer today. Pastor Jim.
