Who is the center of your universe?
Is it your husband of so many years, who loves and adores you?
Is it your children, those you raised and of whom you are so proud?
Grandchildren? The wee ones who make you feel young again by bringing you so much joy?
These are all wonderful choices, but they should all take second place to our God.
The Lord is the One who has enabled you to enjoy all that you have in life: spouse, children, grandchildren and all that you possess, so give Him first place.
The First Commandment (Deuteronomy 5:7) cannot be stated any more clearly: “You shall have no other gods before Me.”
Remember, if we worship the Lord and keep Him first in our lives and in our hearts, everything else will fall into place. Pastor Jim.
