How is your “patience meter” working this morning? You know, that part of you that works for, prays for and acts on behalf of those you love. Maybe it’s your adult child who is still a drain on your finances, or the next door neighbor who accepts your kindness without returning it in kind or the manager at work who sees all the extras that you do, but who never acknowledges you. Losing a little patience with them, are we? Read Galatians 6:9, which says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Hang in there! God is on your side! Keep doing those good things and you will be blessed—and so will those around you. Pastor Jim.
