Psalm 23:4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Death is something few off us want to talk about, yet it is an unfortunate reality of life. Someday, perhaps today or maybe not for many years, your life will end and you will then….
What will happen? Many people just assume that they will make their way to heaven because they have been “good”, while others wander through life with no idea, but they hope everything will be okay in the end.
The reality is that a great many people SHOULD be in fear of death because they have not accepted the mercy given to those who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Today, if you are not a believer, take a moment and reflect upon this verse. Perhaps its truth will move you to accept Jesus as your Lord. It’s easy. Just ask Him to be your Savior.
On the other hand, if you are a believer, you can rest confidently today, for you have received the blessing of eternal life.
