What is it that you want out of life? Do you desire to be rich, really filthy rich, like Bill Gates, or famous like the Kardashians or some other well-known people? What is it that drives you every day?

Perhaps your goals aren’t that high: maybe you just want to live a good, happy life, raising responsible children, enjoying vacation, doing a little volunteer work–things like that.

Through it all, though, things don’t sit quite right. Something’s missing. You feel an emptiness that you simply can’t describe; it’s there, you feel it, but you don’t know what it is.

What is missing is God in your life. We get so busy living that we forget about the Giver of Life, the Engineer of our Souls who makes a full life possible.

In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6:33) Jesus reminds us to “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.”

That’s the answer. That’s why you feel incomplete. In trying to live for yourself you have forgotten to honor the One who created you. He is the only One who can give you the full life that you are craving.

It’s not too late. It’s never too late. Begin today. Begin right now. Invite the Lord into your heart;; then see how the blessings flow into your life. Pastor Jim.
