Is something troubling you today? Are you impatiently waiting for the test results for the biopsy on that odd colored patch on your arm?

Maybe your concern is for your daughter, who leaves every evening and doesn’t return home until very, very late, with no explanation of where she’s been.

Or, perhaps, you’ve looked at your 401K balance, then at the calendar, knowing that there just isn’t enough time to put away that nest egg so that you can retire in comfort.

Whatever it is that is troubling you, ease up and give it to the Lord. I Peter 5: 7 teaches us to “cast all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you.”

Maybe that biopsy will be negative, maybe not. Maybe your daughter will begin to change her behavior. Maybe not. Maybe your retirement account will grow nicely, after all. Maybe not.

Whatever the outcome the Lord will walk with you today. All He wants from you is an honest chance to be a powerful presence in your life. God loves you and wants the best for you, so bend those knees, give Him praise for what He has already done in your life and ask Him to help you today.

You won’t regret it. You will be blessed. Pastor Jim.
