Do you appreciate all that God has done for you? Do you recognize and acknowledge that all you are and all you have are the result of his mercy and grace to you?

Do you tell others about Him?

So often we are afraid to give praise to God, unless we are within the four walls of the church, safe among others who believe as we do.

Only then do we dare to proclaim God’s goodness.

Why is that? Afraid of ridicule? Persecution? Afraid of being thought, weird, odd or strange–a religious nutcase?

I’m afraid so. And excusing ourselves by claiming that “my faith is my own business” just doesn’t cut it.

Part of our responsibility as God’s people is to tell others about all the great things God has done for us.

Hear the Psalmist (Psalm 137: 6a) who cried out, saying, “May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you.”

Now what do you say? Pastor Jim.
