Here’s an opportunity for you to do something good f or someone else and help yourself out at the same time.
James 5:19 teaches us, “If one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”
We all know believers who used to worship and attend church but who have slipped away. Reach out–express your concern for them.
Let them know that you really care and want to try to help them in their difficulties.
Pray that God will reach that lost souls’ heart and speak to their pain and loneliness.
Sometimes that’s all it takes, sometimes not, but you’ll never know until you try. Your effort may bring a great blessing to that sinful friend and God will take note of your kindness. Pastor Jim.
