Revenge is such a powerful motivator. Someone wrongs you, calls you names, insults your children, whatever the slight you have suffered and you can’t wait to get back at them. Sometimes that means you simply “unfriend” them or you bark at them, on social media or about them in the company of a few close friends. But revenge can take a far more sinister tone; it can cause you to turn your vehicle into a weapon, or to grab a gun and shoot up a neighborhood. The Lord says differently: “Do not say: ‘I’ll pay you back for this wrong!’ Wait for the Lord, and He will deliver you.” Proverbs 20:22. Be strong yet humble and let the Lord act on your behalf, in matters great and small. His judgement is wise, His action is sure, and He will deliver justice.. Let it go and let God. Have a blessed day today. Pastor Jim.
