One thing we can always be sure of: no matter how dark the night, dawn will always come, and with it the promise of a new day and new hope.

New hope: that’s what each of us needs when we’ve been through tough times, whether that’s money problems or job loss or bad news from the doctor’s office.

The book of Lamentations was written during a terrible time in the history of Israel, yet the author declared (3:22-23) “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

If, in the midst of his own difficulty, this author could praise God for His faithfulness, so too can you, despite whatever trouble you are facing today, because, as stated, “His compassions never fail.”

Get up, then, get moving. it’s a new day and God’s rich blessing awaits you. Pastor Jim.
