I hope today is a hopeful one for you. It should be, for Christ died that you might life in Him. Keep that in mind as you go about your day.
But what about that friend of yours, or that cousin or neighbor, the one who doesn’t know the Lord? Do you suppose today will be a hopeful day for them as they struggle with their problems?
In I Thessalonians 5:11 Paul tells us to “encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
You are a good friend to sit and listen to that other person’s woes, but the time has come to take it a step further, so pick up the phone and invite them to join you at church this morning.
The best you can do for that troubled friend is to introduce her to the only One who can really make a difference, so do not hesitate.
