There is so much mis-information in the world these days. How do we know what is true and what is false?
I can offer one clue: any document that has been around for two thousand years or so is likely true. No lies and falsehoods strung together by the mind of man could have stood that test of time.
Therefore I trust the Bible as a guide for my life and I urge you to trust it as well. By association, I trust people who have a good grasp of Biblical principles as well as a church that practices those principles.
People and churches that accept the Bible as truth are sturdy and can be trusted. Paul, in II Timothy 1:13 said, “what you heard from me, keep as the pattern for sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.”
At First Baptist Church we trust God’s Word and proclaim its truth each week. We will be doing just that this morning at 10:00 am. Perhaps this is the day that God is speaking to your heart, urging you to join with us.
