“Boring,” your friend says to you. “Life is boring. Same thing day after day: get up, go to work, come home, eat and go to bed. Get up and go to work. Boring.”
So many live lives like that, on a treadmill that takes them nowhere. At the end of the day, at the end of the week, they are no further ahead that they were when they began.
How great it is to be a Christian! To set Sunday aside as a special day, when we can be together, sing hymns of praise, pray and hear God’s word proclaimed!
“I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.'” Psalm 122:1.
If you are weary and feel that your life is going nowhere, join us this morning at worship–10:00 am. You will find there is much more to life than simply working, eating and sleeping.
