With belief in Christ comes responsibility.
Our lives have changed as a result of accepting Him as Savior; now we have become His ambassadors to the world, to demonstrate to others the new life that comes from knowing Him.
It’s not always easy. When we are insulted we want to lash out in return, when we are hurt by harmful words or ignored by those we love, we want to respond in kind, but that is not what He would have us do.
Life is different now that you have asked Christ into your life, and we have to do our best to live as He lived.
In I Thessalonians 5: 14, Paul wrote, “And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.”
Lead by example. Teach by demonstration. Others will see the message of your life and, hopefully, profit by it. Pastor Jim.
