The Lord says, “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Isaiah 29:13a).
Do you know someone like that, a person who professes great righteousness, but who’s actions do not match their words?
It’s a matter of motivation, and ours should always be to praise and serve the God we love, for His sake and not for our own benefit.
Be wary of those people, because they cannot be trusted. Talk is cheap–we all know that. It ‘s far more difficult to live the faith that you proclaim than to merely talk about it.
God blesses the person who does His will, not the person who says one thing and does another, so learn the difference! Pastor Jim.
