“I just wish I could turn back the clock and start over,” you wail as you think about the mistakes you have made.

Who hasn’t said that at one time or another? We’ve all done things we regret, like the lady who knitted several rows before she realized she had dropped a stitch.

What to do? Tear out those rows, back to the dropped stitch and begin again. Unfortunately, in life, what’s done is done; we have to live with the result of our
past mistakes.

But we don’t have to be defined by them, or held captive by them.

II Corinthians 5:17 teaches, “If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. Behold, the old has gone, the new has come!”

You CAN start over. You CAN begin again: a rich new life, by trusting Christ as Savior.

He WILL forgive you, embrace and empower you, enabling you to overcome the guilt of past errors.

Believe in Him. Begin today. Pastor Jim.
