Most of us look forward to the weekend; an opportunity to relax and have fun with family and friends. But what if you are alone–and lonely? The weekend holds no more joy than the long hours of the weekday; the empty hours of Saturday and Sunday stretch before you like a prison sentence. It needn’t be so! There is help for the lonely: our God and the church. The Psalmist called out to God: “Turn to me and be gracious to me for I am lonely and afflicted.’ Psalm 25: 16. Our church is here for YOU, to provide fellowship and love that you might not otherwise receive, so please come and let us soothe your wounded soul.
