How was your weekend? For some it was busy, filled with shopping, errands, or maybe an evening out. Others went to worship, heard an inspiring sermon, went home to work in the yard, only to have the rain wipe out those plans. Others had a bad day, sick at home or rushing to the ER for treatment. Life can be an up and down adventure, can’t it? One thing that is constant, though, is God’s presence in our lives. In Philippians 4:4 the Apostle Paul offers this remedy for life’s trials. He says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Whatever you experienced this past weekend, give thanks to God for walking through it with you and rejoice in His ongoing Presence this Monday morning as you face a new week.
