It’s Monday morning, time to saddle up and ride the same old horse: getting the kids off to school. making ready for work, fretting about how to pay the bills that linger even as the month’s end draws near.

It seems like a never–ending treadmill. If not one thing, it’s something else.

When will it end? When will God deliver us from the difficulties that surround us and threaten to upend our lives?

Or will He never make Himself known?

But Jeremiah prophesied (Jeremiah 20:11): ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Be patient. God has not forgotten you, nor is He ignoring you. Even in this moment He is working on your behalf, so do not despair.

Saddle up, and get going. God rides with you. Pastor Jim.
