It’s easy to be cynical, to look only for the worst in people and in the world. You don’t have far to look: the nightly news is filled with bad news.
But to focus only on the negative is to develop a hopeless world view and we do NOT live in a world with no hope.
We have hope in the form of a Savior, Jesus, sent by God to rescue us from hopelessness and despair. So make ready:
“Joy to the world, the Lord is come. Let earth receive her King. Let every heart prepare Him room.”
