Have you ever noticed that group of serious looking people who stand behind the celebrity as he makes a speech?
Sports stars politicians, movie stars–they often employ bodyguards to keep them safe from danger. Bodyguards are usually armed and well-trained, so that they can keep the rich and famous safe.
It must be nice to have bodyguard, to keep you from harm.
Actually, you do. Psalm 91:11 reminds us, “He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
Protection is yours, courtesy of the God who loves you and cares deeply for you. When you are feeling afraid or when you feel that you might be overcome by temptation, call upon the Lord to activate the angelic host on your behalf.
