Have you ever considered that your interest and enthusiasm can be an inspiration to others?

When you are truly passionate about something, such as your faith, your enthusiasm can be infectious, leading others to become excited and grateful as well.

Paul spoke to the Ephesians, complimenting them on their interest in their faith and in the spreading of the Gospel.

Here’s what he said in Ephesians 1:15-16: “Ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.”

Paul was called to preach and spread the Gospel. It was his passion but, like any other man, he at times became weary, wondering if he was making any difference.

Hearing of the faith of believers in Ephesus helped to regenerate his own enthusiasm for ministry. He could pray prayers of gratitude for them, in part because their zeal helped to inspire his own.

Everyone, even the most faithful, needs encouragement. By your excitement and enthusiasm regarding your faith, who will you encourage today?
