The kids are on vacation this week so you can breathe a sigh of relief: they might be less likely to be bullied or tempted by their peers to engage in less than healthy behavior. Kids need all the help they can get these days, growing up in an increasingly dark world. Consider this: “Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6. At First Baptist we have a great Sunday School, led by young, energetic teachers eager to teach the kids about Jesus, to help them to grow up to be good and productive citizens, and not a drag on society, as so many have become because, in part, they learned no moral compass when they were young. We have room for your little one–from age 4 to 11. Sunday School costs you nothing–it’s free, so come next week at 10:00. Your child will be blessed as he/she learns, and so will you as you worship with us. Pastor Jim
