During your Easter celebration yesterday, if you spent time with small children, you likely enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.
What fun, to watch kids of all ages race around the yard, searching for colored eggs that the mysterious “EB” has hidden!
The looks of delight on their faces as they find each egg brings joy to every heart. The kids don’t quit until every egg has been found!
Searching for God is something like an Easter egg hunt. His ways are sometimes mysterious, sometimes He appears to be hidden in such a way that we cannot find Him or discern His will but, for those who are diligent, He can and will be found.
Proverbs 8:17 puts it this way: “I love those who love me, and those who seek Me, find Me.”
You may be struggling a bit today but be like a child: seek the Lord with all of your heart, pursue Him relentlessly until you find Him because when you do find Him, the blessings will be yours. Pastor Jim.
