“I don’t believe in prayer. I tried it once and it didn’t work..” Ever hear that complaint from someone, perhaps one of those “instant gratification” folks who want something and want it NOW? God loves you, but God is not your errand boy. God wants an ongoing relationship with you and that means following Paul’s admonition to “Pray continually.” I Thessalonians 5:17. Pray every day: every morning before your day begins, every evening before you go to sleep. Boldly enter into that relationship that God wants to have with you and, in His time, He will answer.
