Do you have plans for this long holiday weekend? Maybe it’s time to open the pool or the camp, go to the beach or simply have a family cookout at home. Hopefully, all will go well; rain will hold off and the weather will be warm and sunny. But, whatever happens, remember that God has a plan for you. The prophet Jeremiah (29:11) spoke for God when he said, “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The Lord has a great plan for you. Keep that in mind today as you prepare for the weekend. God wants to bless you, so prepare yourself for that blessing. Pastor Jim.
