My friend Ray is the most positive person I know. When greeted with “How are you?” his answer is always the same: “Terrific! How else would I be?” Ray has his difficulties, to be sure: as a small businessman he deals with issues with his employees, customers, suppliers, etc. and they are not always positive. But Ray is. Always. He prefers to be positive, because he know that God is on His side and, if he remains faithful, God will work things out, in his life and in his business. What a way to live! Psalm 9: 1-2 teaches, “I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.” We all have challenges, troubles and difficulties, but we also have rich blessings from God who loves us.
