Celebration Event

Join us for an evening of Traditional and Contemporary music followed by refreshments

Our beautiful Sanctuary will be open to all.  Take a tour and learn the history of the First Baptist Church of Brentwood.  Scrapbooks & artifacts will be on display.

A visit to the grave of Dr. Samuel Shepard, founding Pastor, who served this church from 1771 until retirement in 1811 to show appreciation for where we began. Vehicles will be meeting at the church and leaving at 2:55pm.

Single worship will be held outside under tents regardless of the weather. Pastor Jim & Rev. Malcolm Hall will lead worship, while Rev. Dale Edwards, our Executive Minister will preach.  Former church Pastors will act as Deacons and serve communion.  

Everyone is invited to attend a celebratory luncheon following worship, around 12:30 pm under the tent.  All are welcome to attend this FREE meal.  Please keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly.  This meal with friends will give us the opportunity to share recent and past history, reflect upon where we find ourselves […]
