Ministries at First Baptist Brentwood
Sharing Gods Love from Brentwood and Beyond
At First Baptist Church of Brentwood, we are dedicated to sharing Christ’s love both near and far.
Our mission efforts reach from our own local community—where we serve neighbors in need—to the broader region and mission fields around the world.
Through prayer, giving, and hands-on involvement, we partner with others to meet physical and spiritual needs, spreading the hope of the Gospel to people everywhere.
Local Ministries

We strive to live out the biblical call to feed the hungry and clothe the naked.
Our food pantry may be small, but it’s always replenished through generous donations of cash and non-perishable food. This allows us to keep canned and boxed goods readily available for anyone in need.
If You Need Assistance:
The pantry is open during the following hours:
Sundays: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Tuesdays: 10 AM – 2 PM
Thursdays: 10 AM – 2 PM
2nd and 4th Saturdays: 10 AM – 2 PM
No appointment is necessary — please come and take what you need.
If You’re Donating:
Please place donations in the blue box under the table so they can be logged in before being placed on the shelves.
We gladly accept non-perishable food items and monetary gifts to help keep the pantry stocked.
Whether you are giving or receiving, may God continue to bless your life!
Your old clothes can help send someone to college!
The St. Pauly Clothing Donation Shed, located in our church parking lot, is open year-round and ready for your donations.
What You Can Donate:
Clothing of any type and in any condition (wearable or not)
Boots and shoes
Blankets and bedding
Stuffed animals
How It Helps:
The church receives payment for every item donated.
100% of the proceeds go directly into our Scholarship Fund to help local students pursue their education.
Since the program began, we’ve awarded $12,000 in scholarships to four deserving recipients.
Your donations make a difference — thank you for your generosity!
A complete list of acceptable and non-acceptable items is posted on the shed.

For years, 1269 Cafe has been a place of hope and refuge for those in need. We provide hot meals, showers, clothing, laundry service, and short-term storage lockers, along with vital onsite support services such as medical care, recovery meetings, counseling, and job training and placement—all in a safe and caring environment.
With the purchase of our new home, the former St. Casimir School at 456 Union Street, both our space and mission have grown. While we have long served and loved the homeless, it’s clear that now we can—and should—do even more.
There are many ways you can support your neighbors through The 1269 Cafe—whether by giving financially, volunteering your time, or donating everyday essentials.

Worldwide Ministry Efforts
The Love Packages Ministry collects Bibles and Christian materials—such as books, magazines, CDs, and more—and ships them around the world so others can read and grow in the Word of the Lord.
How It Works:
Collect
Donated Bibles and other Christian literature are received or picked up from all over the country.Sort
Materials—Bibles, books, reference guides, CDs, and more—are sorted and organized for distribution.Pack
Items are packed into color-coded boxes to make distribution on the mission field simple and efficient.Ship
20-foot cargo containers filled with gospel materials are sent to distributors in port cities around the world.
Together, we’re helping spread God’s Word to people everywhere—one box at a time.
“Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14, ESV
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

We at First Baptist Church of Brentwood are proud to support Word Radio’s work, believing that by doing so we help extend the reach of the Gospel beyond our walls, into homes, cars, devices and communities near and far.
